This nine weeks we have been working on logarithms. Logarithms are defined as a quantity representing the power to which a fixed number (the base) must be raised to produce a given number. Through learning about I have learned many different ways to represent logs such as using exponential form. The hardest part was grasping the concept and order after switching from exponential to logarithms.

Learning about logs has made solving exponential equations with a variable a lot easier. Through using logarithms you can plug problems into a calculator and figure out the missing parts. I enjoyed learning about logarithms and being able to challenge myself and also how to simplify work into an easier workload.
